Our Managing Partner, Abang Iwawan, co-founded the Young Society of Construction Law (YSCL) Malaysia in early 2020 and is serving as the incumbent President. Under his leadership, the YSCL introduced “YSCL Classroom”, a program aimed to enhance accessibility and empower young and aspiring practitioners within the construction industry through continued education.

The event was attended by over 200 participants including government agencies, arbitrators, adjudicators, legal practitioners, and professionals from the construction industry. Speaker on The Role of Blockchain Technology in Governance

Our Head of Renewable Energy, Climate Change and Environment Practice, Marco Isidor Tan, was invited by the Wisdom Foundation Malaysia to speak in a policy dialogue session hosted by Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Madius Tangau, the former Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia in 2017 and former Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah. Marco’s presentation focused on the topic of decentralisation through blockchain technology and its role in governance.
